High Court matters and Magistrate’s
Court matters are obviously charged according to
various tariffs. Where a time-billing system is
used the client is advised of the hourly rates in
advance, as is the case where a tariff system is
used. Attorney client tariffs, which are outside
the normal court tariffs, are used.
In all instances, the client can either be sent
an interim bill or a final all-inclusive bill, to
cover disbursements, deposits of varying amounts
depending on the nature of the matter are payable
upfront.
